Route Overview
On June 8th, the SPS Cyclists will pack up their dorm rooms and head out to Logan Airport to catch a plane to Seattle, Washington. There the team will have one day to pack up the trailer and make any final arrangements before the Cyclists head out on the trip of a lifetime.
The Cyclists will dip our back tires into the Pacific Ocean in Seattle, Washington, early on the morning of June 10th and start pedaling across Washington state. The group will spend 7 weeks covering 3,855 miles of North America. Our trip will consist of us traveling in the state of Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Canada, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. It truly will be a scenic trip of the U.S., crossing through the Rockies in Montana, passing along Niagara Falls while in Canada, and riding along the Adirondack Mountains in New York. Finally, after 42 days of biking, we will make it to Portland, Maine, where we will dip our front tires into the Atlantic, finishing our epic endeavor.
